comic sans

I am an editor. I am not a font designer or a critic of the printed scene.

I use the apparently disgusting "Comic Sans" in almost every issue of The Poland Place News. I use it appropriately: inside the balloons of my "Comic" strips at the bottom of the page. I have, in fact, grown to like it a lot and I also use it for signs about lost dogs and place cards at Thanksgiving Dinners and, on occasion for the text in my email and other correspondence. If she were alive, I would be sending notes in Comic Sans to your 90-year old Grandmother, who would be 108.

Until today, I never knew there were people who could get excited about Comic Sans--even in a negative sense. I can only assume that you're one of them. Have fun!
